Summary of the IAI

The IAI is a corporation dedicated to securing and investigating potentially dangerous anomalies that appear in space. It is dedicated to protecting civilians who might wander into these anomalies and will do anything to achieve that goal. It is hoped that there won't be any incidents that will cost kerbal or any other species lives, but they may still happen and all personnel are to be briefed about the dangers of joining the IAI. Upon joining they are to give away their civilian lives and spend the rest of their lives in IAI facilities (which we will try to make as comfortable as possible) due to security reasons.

Classifications

Rank classifications
Class A - the recruit rank
Class B - trusted, has access to full database
Class C - considered extremely valuable due to their experience, class C is for experienced personnel that know how to handle anomalies
Class D - scientists investigating these anomalies. They are not forced to relinquish their civilian lives (if a Class C is ranked to Class D they are allowed to go back to their civilian lives) but are to be accompanied by a Class E personnel to assure they do not give secret information
Class E - military personnel that is affiliated with the IAI. Class C can be ranked to Class E if they serve well. Are allowed to have civilian lives.
Class F - observers, captains of the starships that investigate anomalies. When referring to a Class F personnel in a classified document you are to state F-x, where x is the number since his ranking to class F. Are allowed civilian lives.
Class G - the leaders of the IAI, same rules of stating their name apply as they apply to a Class F. (e.g. G-x)

Anomaly classifications
Safe - safe to handle, pose little threat to civilians and are declassified after investigation.
Taheireaz - not safe, poses threat to civilians but is understood and can be contained.
Atlaniego - least safe, poses extreme threat to civilians and is not understood, can hardly be contained.
